Team and settings
Roles#
Every member of an organization holds one of three roles:
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing and deleting the organization. |
| Admin | Manage data, settings, and team members. |
| Member | Day-to-day work on records. |
An organization has one owner. Ownership is what ties the subscription to a person, so transferring it is a deliberate act rather than a permission tweak.
Inviting people#
Invite by email address from the Team page and choose the role at the same time. Seats are counted per member, and every plan has a limit — a free organization allows one user, so inviting a colleague means changing plan first.

The page leads with four counters — seats used, total members, active members, and pending invitations. When every seat is taken, a banner appears with an Add Seats action, and Invite Member is disabled until you have a free seat. That is the most common reason an invite button looks broken: the plan is full, not the feature.
Members and Invitations are separate tabs, so an invite that hasn't been accepted yet is tracked without cluttering the member list.
Company settings#
Three settings change how data is displayed everywhere in the product, and they're worth setting before you import anything:
- Currency — what every deal value and revenue figure is formatted in
- Timezone — what timestamps and booking slots are shown against
- Date format — how dates render across lists and records
These are organization-wide rather than per-user, so the whole team reads the same numbers the same way.
Plans and entitlements#
Features are gated by plan, and the gate is real: campaigns, automations, advanced reporting, API access, and team management each depend on the organization's entitlement. When a feature is missing from the sidebar entirely, that's the entitlement, not a bug.
